Chi Yung CHUNG received the B.Eng. degree (with First Class Honors) and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, China, in 1995 and 1999, respectively. He has worked for the University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, SK, Canada; Powertech Labs, Inc., Surrey, BC, Canada; the University of Alberta, Edmonton, AB, Canada; and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong, China.
His research work has not only generated 3 US patents, 3 book chapters and over 170 international journal papers, mostly in well-respected IEEE transactions and IET journals, but has also resulted in successful transference of three new commercial software packages developed for power system analysis, now being used by over 80 power companies and nearly 90 universities worldwide. He is a Fellow of CAE, IEEE, EIC, IET and HKIE, and an IEEE PES Distinguished Lecturer.

Lei CHEN received the PhD degree in computer science from the University of Waterloo, Waterloo, Canada, in 2005. He is currently a professor with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Director of HKUST Big Data Institute, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He is an IEEE Fellow and ACM Distinguished Scientist. His research interests include data-driven machine learning, crowdsourcing-based data processing, uncertain and probabilistic databases, web information management and multimedia systems.

Kai-Kit WONG received the BEng, the MPhil, and the PhD degrees, all in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Hong Kong, in 1996, 1998, and 2001, respectively. He is Chair Professor of Wireless Communications at the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, University College London, UK. His current research centers around 5G and beyond mobile communications. He is a co-recipient of the 2020 Premium Award for Best Paper in IET Electronics Letters, the 2013 IEEE Signal Processing Letters Best Paper Award, the 2000 IEEE VTS Japan Chapter Award at the IEEE Vehicular Technology Conference in Japan in 2000, and a few other international best paper awards. He is Fellow of IEEE and IET. He is the Editor-in-Chief for IEEE Wireless Communications Letters since 2020, and also the Subject Editor-in-Chief for Wireless Communications of IET Electronics Letters since June 2020.

Fei Richard YU received the PhD degree in electrical engineering from the University of British Columbia (UBC) in 2003. His research interests include connected intelligence, connected/autonomous vehicles, blockchain and wireless systems. He has been named in the Clarivate Analytics list of “Highly Cited Researchers” since 2019, and received many Best Paper Awards from some first-tier conferences. He is an elected member of the Board of Governors of the IEEE VTS and Editor-in-Chief for IEEE VTS Mobile World newsletter. He is a Fellow of the IEEE, Canadian Academy of Engineering (CAE), Engineering Institute of Canada (EIC), and IET. He is a Distinguished Lecturer of IEEE in both VTS and ComSoc.
