Welcome to the 2^nd MCSCT!

The Second Macao Conference on Smart City Technologies 2022  is organized by the State Key Laboratory of Internet of Things for Smart City (University of Macau), co-organized by the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Joint Laboratory for Smart Cities.  This year, the conference is to be held on 4 and 5 November 2022 at the University of Macau. With the theme of  “Smart City Connected to the Future”, the conference will be held in virtual mode (via ZOOM) so that participants from around the world will be able to participate in this annual event.

The conference includes keynotes, invited talks, open research project highlight, industrial and poster sessions in five technical tracks:

• Sensing and Communications 
• AI and Big Data
• Smart Energy
• Intelligent Transportation
• Urban Public Safety and Disaster Prevention

Last year, we were grateful to have gathered over 150 participants and scholars mainly from Greater Bay Area as well as mainland China.

We are honored to have Prof. Chi Yung CHUNG (Chair Professor of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University), Prof. Lei CHEN (Chair Professor of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology), Prof. Kai-Kit WONG (Chair Professor, University College London, UK) and Prof. Fei Richard YU (Executive Officer of Guangdong Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy Laboratory (Shenzhen)) as the keynote speakers. This year, our event will be expanded to worldwide and to major industrial enterprises, continue to serve as a platform for presenting the latest theories, technologies, and practices for smart city innovation and knowledge transfer, and gathering talented and inspired scholars and professionals to foster discussions, knowledge sharing and potential collaborations worldwide.
