Sensing and Communications Track

Sensing and communications play as one of the fundamental roles for enabling future smart cities. In particular, the past years have witnessed an explosive growth in the advanced IoT technologies for intelligent sensing, covering the LPWAN represented by LoRa and Narrowband IoT, integrated sensing and communications, backscatter enabled IoT, as well as the smart/collaborative sensing and crowdsource services for different applications. At the meanwhile, the great development of 5G/6G communications also provide for momentous supports for smart sensing and communications services, e.g., Massive MIMO, intelligent reflection surface, and mobile edge/cloud computing. Therefore, this track aims at promoting the discussions on the latest developments in the fundamentals, technologies, and practices in fields of intelligent sensing and communications technologies, with the objective of enabling intelligent, green, and secure sensing and communications systems for future smart city.
