Call for Posters

In the Poster Session, researchers could share their ideas and progresses in five major topics: Sensing and Communications, AI and Big Data, Smart Energy, Intelligent Transportation and Urban Public Safety and Disaster Prevention. We encourage posters to share expertise and practices across all disciplines from various perspectives for building up smart cities.

Poster Session will be held during the conference (3rd – 4th November of 2023). Posters will be displayed at the meeting venue from the beginning till the end of the 2-day event and on our website. Participants are required to present their poster in-person during the conference.

Deadline for poster submission: 24th October 2023

The authors of the selected posters will be notified by email on or before 15th October 2023.

POSTER AWARD
Best Poster Award and Outstanding Poster Awards

The review committee which consists of members from the State Key Laboratory of Internet of Things for Smart City (University of Macau) will assess all submitted posters and select the best one for Best Poster Award, and five others for Outstanding Poster Awards.

POSTER PREPARATION
Below are some hints for your consideration when you prepare your poster for the symposium:

  1. The maximum poster size is 0.8 metre (wide) by 1.18 metre (high). Exhibition boards and amenities for putting up the posters are available at the venue. Presenters have to post their printed posters before the Opening Ceremony on 3rd November 2023 (Friday). Printing service is NOT available on site.
  2. The poster should include:
    • Title
    • Name(s) affiliation of Author(s)
    • Objectives/Introduction
    • Methods
    • Results
    • Discussion
    • Summary/Conclusions
    • Acknowledgments/Publications
  3. The contents of the poster must be in good accordance with the materials cited in the abstract submitted.
  4. The title of your poster and your poster number shall be placed prominently on the top of the poster board to allow viewers to identify.
  5. Participants are required to present their poster in-person during the conference.
